Coloured Composition 009

As part of our coloured composition series, this subtle piece has set in motion a dialogue between tonal greens in the foreground against neutral grey tone in the background. The work is both influenced, as well as a homage to Matisse. The interplay of colour also suggests the work of Joseph Albers. 

The forms compete and overlap each other in a composition that seeks to strike a balance, while setting up a dynamic tension in the overall work.

This original artwork is a limited run of 10 prints. Made in Australia.
